prayer meeting

October to November 3 Election Day

Prayer Meetings at Warren Chapel CME ChurchWe as a part of the Body of Christ continue to be in awe of the opportunity to go to God in prayer.  Members of Warren Chapel Church family come together weekly (Tuesdays) in the spirit of grateful and thankful hearts to lift up each other, family, friends, and our nation in prayer.

In the month of October until November 3, 2020, our prayer focus is asking for God to heal hearts of man, so that the world will heed the call of Salvation.  It is not the desire of God that any man should perish. (2 Peter 3:9)   Also, we are currently participating in a world-wide Daniel Fast asking for God to heal our land.

The Bible gives us instruction to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5 17); prayer keeps us connected to our Father in Heaven, and increases our faith, as we learn to trust God more and more each day.  Our developed faith keeps us seeking God through His word, and in worship.  This encourages us to take steps to grow spiritually as identified in scripture.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (2 Timothy 4:3)
