FOOD BANK - San Pedro, California

FOOD BANK – Twice a Month
2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 1 pm to 3 pm

The Bible gives Christians an expectation from God to feed the hungry, and following suit, it is a part of Warren Chapel’s vision to have a face in the community; and providing space for the food bank has assisted in that effort.  Therefore, twice a month, on 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month from 1 pm to 3 pm, Justice for Murdered Children manages a food bank set up to give away food to the hungry.

Many organizations and neighborhood grocery stores donate food, so that the food bank can meet needs of the San Pedro community.  Volunteers support the food bank by unpacking donated items to bundle bags and boxes appropriate for the size of each family.

In the month of November, additional food will be readily available for Thanksgiving Giveaway, but there will be no change in the regular schedule, so the schedule will remain the same.

Since food is donated from different entities, there is no way of knowing what foods will be available, and service is always first come first serve, until the food is gone.

And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them. (Genesis 6:21)
